WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED AT THE STORE?

Purchases can be made using debit or credit cards, and cash.

 

I’D LIKE TO HAVE AN ITEM PUT ASIDE. IS THAT POSSIBLE?

We are unable to put aside any of our items due to logistical and inventory management reasons since the pieces are sold both online and in our store.

WHERE DO ITEMS SOLD AT DEUXIÈME ÉDITION COME FROM?

Most of the items are second-hand clothing and accessories consigned by our customers (who get a percentage of the sale), as well as some new items purchased from a few select retailers.

 

DO YOU TAKE ITEMS ON CONSIGNMENT?

Yes, absolutely! However, we only take designer pieces. For more information, please click here.

 

CAN I JUST DROP BY DEUXIÈME ÉDITION WITH MY PIECES?

No. Please email us pictures of your items and we can then set up an appointment.

 

WHAT IF I HAVE MANY ITEMS? I DON’T HAVE TIME TO TAKE PICTURES OF EACH ITEM AND SEND YOU AN EMAIL. CAN’T I JUST DROP BY THE STORE SO YOU CAN SEE THE PIECES IN PERSON?

Unfortunately not. For logistical reasons, we ask that you send us an email with pictures of all your items. Click here for the step by step consignment process. Thank You!

 

DO YOU EVER BUY ITEMS OUTRIGHT?

Yes, we sometimes purchase high-end fashion items from boutiques and clients (minimum of 10 pieces at once). For more information, please send us an email at questions@deuxiemeedition.com

HOW ARE THE PRICES SET?

Each item is carefully evaluated by our team. Prices are then determined based on the original price of the item, as well as its current resale value. All our garments are dry-cleaned which is also a consideration in setting the sale price.

 

HOW DO I KNOW IF AN ITEM HAS BEEN SOLD?

The item listing on the website will say “Sold”.

WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING COSTS?

Within the province of Québec: Flat rate of $10 for parcels weighing up to 5kg, and $20 for parcels weighing between 5 and 20 kg.

All Canadian provinces (excluding Québec): Flat rate of $30.

All Canadian provinces (including Québec): Free delivery on all orders of $200 and more.

To France : $55 CAD.

To the United States: $40 CAD.

 

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN AND REFUND POLICY?

Returns are allowed for online purchases of $40 or more. Items priced $0 to $39 are final sale. 

Final sale = no returns, no refunds.

 

Returns must be made within 7 days of receiving the item. It must absolutely be unworn. Footwear and luxury items must be in the same condition as when sold (for example, shoes may be tried on but they cannot be worn).

We will reimburse the full amount of the sale (excluding shipping costs).

All items purchased in the store are final sale.

 

I’D LIKE TO AVOID SHIPPING CHARGES. CAN I PICK THE ITEM UP AT THE STORE?

Yes. At checkout, please select “Store pickup”.

Please note that we do not send a confirmation that your order is ready. You can stop by the store any time after placing your online order.


You have 7 days to come by the store to pick up your item or return it for a full refund. After 7 days, there can be no refund or store credit.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SHIP?

We try our best to process orders within 3 to 4 business days. In peak periods or during holidays, it may take a few extra days.

 

Since we are closed on Mondays, orders placed on the weekend are not processed until Tuesday.

 

WHO COVERS THE COST OF SHIPPING FOR RETURNS?

The customer is responsible for shipping costs when returning an item.

 

I’D LIKE TO AVOID SHIPPING CHARGES WHEN RETURNING MY ONLINE PURCHASE. CAN I RETURN IT TO THE STORE?

Yes, absolutely, you can come to the store anytime during regular business hours.

DO YOU OFFER A WARRANTY ON YOUR ITEMS?

No. We are not responsible for an item once it’s sold. We do not manufacture the goods sold at Deuxième édition. Our prices vary based on the quality of the garment, its condition and the reputation of the brand. By purchasing from our website, you are acknowledging that you are buying a second-hand item, and that we cannot guarantee its durability. 

For example: you purchase a bag that breaks within months of buying it. Unfortunately, we would’ve had no way of knowing this could happen and therefore do not offer any type of warranty.

WHAT DOES “FINAL SALE” MEAN?

Any item marked final sale (whether from price reduction or part of a promotion) cannot be returned or refunded. Please note that even if the item is sent back to us by mail, there can be no refund.
